VRTO 2026 brought creators, developers, researchers and technologists to OCAD University for three days of conversations about XR, spatial computing and the future of immersive media.

Moonlite Labs joined the Toronto conference with an exhibition booth and a main stage talk by founder and CEO Adam Fainman. As Canada's longest-running event dedicated to immersive and emerging technologies, VRTO created space for people across disciplines to share their work, test new tools and exchange ideas.

Bringing visitors' ideas to life with Moonlite Labs

Visitors at the VRTO exhibition showed strong interest in Moonlite Labs and how the platform could support their work. During our live demonstrations, they saw how an idea could move from an initial concept to custom images, audio and video within one creative workspace.

The most engaging demonstrations began with conversations. We had a great time speaking with creators, podcasters, technologists and other visitors about their work, their motivations and what they wanted to create. We then used Moonlite Labs to develop custom creative assets inspired by the ideas they shared.

The live demonstrations gave us the opportunity to showcase several distinct use cases for Moonlite Labs, including creating animations for children, transforming a podcaster's recording backdrop into a complete studio environment, visualizing an upcoming infrastructure project, developing cinematic films and producing commercials using product reference images.

Each demonstration was tailored to the visitor's work and showed how Moonlite Labs could turn a specific idea into a custom creative asset. This made the experience personal and practical while giving our team the opportunity to learn about the wide range of stories, projects and ambitions behind their work.

CEO Adam Fainman takes the stage at VRTO 2026

Moonlite Labs founder and CEO Adam Fainman took the stage to present The Creative Technologist. The talk explored why art and technology were never opposites and why artists should help shape the technologies they use.

Known artistically as Beatox, Adam is a multimedia producer, musician, beatboxer, entrepreneur and AI creative technologist. His background spans computer science, performance, multimedia production and AI-driven storytelling.

As the technical lead and product visionary behind Moonlite Labs, Adam built the platform around a challenge he had experienced as a creator. Producing high-quality work often required several disconnected tools, repeated file transfers and significant technical effort.

During his talk, Adam shared why artists should not remain on the sidelines as new technologies develop. Their knowledge, instincts and creative experience should help determine how these technologies evolve and how they are used.

This idea continues to shape Moonlite Labs. Creative software should support the way artists think and give more people the ability to bring their stories to life, even without access to a large studio budget.

*Moonlite Labs is an all-in-one AI creative platform that brings content generation, editing and publishing into a single workspace. With users across 112 countries, it helps creators, filmmakers and teams bring their ideas to life using leading AI models for image, audio and video.*
