Moonlite Labs Heads to TIFF: The Market 2026
Moonlite Labs will showcase its Canadian AI platform for cinematic storytelling at Booth A17 at the inaugural TIFF: The Market.

Moonlite Labs will exhibit at TIFF: The Market from September 10 to 16, 2026 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Delegates can visit Booth A17 to explore how Moonlite Labs supports different stages of film and content production, from storyboarding and visual development to cinematic video generation, VFX and shot enhancement.
AI as part of the filmmaking workflow
Generative AI has expanded what filmmakers and creative teams can do with images, video, sound and visual effects. Filmmakers can use AI to explore the visual direction of a project, develop characters and environments, previsualize scenes, create specific shots, enhance existing footage or develop promotional assets.
Moonlite Labs supports different stages of the creative workflow, including pre-production (storyboarding, previs, proof of concept), production (B-roll, insert shots, establishing shots), post-production (editing, VFX, upscaling, sound effects), and marketing (teasers, promotional content, key art, social media assets).
Our broader goal is to give filmmakers and creative teams a more accessible way to develop and refine cinematic work, from storyboard to final cut.
For filmmakers and production teams, this can mean visualizing an idea earlier, testing different creative directions, developing specific shots, refining existing footage and carrying a consistent visual direction through different stages of a project.
At TIFF: The Market, we will show how filmmakers and creative teams can use these capabilities together within a single production workflow.
Making Canada's Film, Media and Creative Industries AI-Forward
Moonlite Labs is exhibiting at TIFF: The Market at a time when Canada is placing greater focus on the relationship between artificial intelligence and its cultural and creative industries.
Canada's first National Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Culture, convened by the Government of Canada and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in March 2026, examined how Canada can encourage practical applications of AI within its cultural industries while supporting responsible development, adoption and human creativity.
"Canada's cultural sector is central to who we are, telling our stories through books, music, film, games and art."The Honourable Evan Solomon
Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation
National Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Culture
The statement formed part of a broader call for Canadian creators to help shape the country's developing AI economy. Minister Solomon said at the Summit that he was excited to see creators "help shape the future."
Moonlite Labs, as a Canadian-built AI platform, feels the imperative and takes active initiatives to support Canada's creative community and enable more stories from Canada to be developed and told. TIFF: The Market gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the technology directly to the screen industry in Canada and internationally.
